Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight as temperatures only cool into the 60s and 70s. This is ahead of a chance for a few showers and storms possible into Sunday morning.

Sunday morning's system will likely weaken as it makes its way across CT, but a few rumbles of thunder are likely at times. After the rain moves out, humidity will stick around as temperatures warm into the 90s. That heat index will start to move closer to the triple digits.

Temperatures could feel like up to 110 degrees at times next week. Actual temperatures could warm to near 100 degrees on Monday and Tuesday. If it does at Bradley International Airport, it would be the first time since July 21st, 2019 AND only the third time to ever do so in the month of June. It could also be the earliest 100 degree day on record.
