Busy weather is on tap as conditions change quite a bit during the next few days. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for parts of Connecticut for tomorrow, between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET. The feels-like temperature may near 100 degrees in a few towns.

Stay cool by trying to stay shaded and hydrated tomorrow afternoon. Wear light-colored and loose-fitting clothing and avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day, usually around 2-4 p.m. ET. The beaches will feel much more tolerable, when it comes to the heat.

This heat won't build until tomorrow. In the meantime, we'll have a mainly cloudy sky today, a few rain showers, and highs in the 70's.

Tomorrow, we'll have the chance at a few strong thunderstorms, capable of gusty winds.

These storms will be most likely late in the day, toward sunset, across western Connecticut.
